Spreading Hope Behind Bars: St. Aloysius PU College's Heartfelt Christmas Program at Dhavangere Jail on 21st December 2023.
St. Aloysius PU College students visited the Dhavengere Jail on December 20, 2023, accompanied by Rev. Fr. Avinash Lobo SJ, Miss Jyothi Gupta, and Mr. Manjunath.
The purpose was to conduct a Christmas program, engaging with inmates. Gurunath, as the Master of Ceremony, set the tone for the day, and Sona led an inter-religious prayer. Varun expressed gratitude, Sushmita presented a captivating skit, and Deeksha's singing group filled the atmosphere with joyous carols. Chinmaie and her dance group delivered a lively performance. Varun, on behalf of the college, expressed appreciation.
The visit and program provided a unique opportunity for students to connect with prisoners, fostering a sense of community.
