Republic Day celebration

The 74th Republic Day celebration of our country, which is the identity of every Indian, was celebrated in a meaningful way by hoisting the flag, paying homage to the nation and offering floral tributes to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr B.R. Ambedkar at college quadrangle. The dignitaries were escorted to the stage with the guard of honor by the NCC cadets. Mrs. Shameem Banu, the lecturer of the college who spoke as the chief guest, called upon the students as the future citizens to realize the wish of the constitution and act unitedly to build a peaceful, equitable, harmonious India. Mr. Sunny Gudinho, The Principal of the college, said that the inequality of the society can be removed, only when atrocities on the basis of caste, creed, gender and religion ends. Then only the true meaning of the constitution and democracy will come true. The program was presided over by the superior of the college, Rev.Fr. Eric Mathias S. J. On this occasion, College Finance Officer Fr. Vinod AJ. SJ, Vice Principal Mr. Mosin Ulla, Program Coordinator Mr. Manjunath T.S were present. Maths faculty Mr. Ramesh presented the program and proposed the vote of thanks.
