Rector’s visit held on 23 rd September 2023 at St. Aloysious PU College Harihar
The morning assembly at St. Aloysius PU College Harihar was graced by the presence of our esteemed Rector, Fr. Melwin Joseph Pinto, alongside Fr. Jeevan Prabhu.
The program commenced with a short and solemn inter-religious prayer, reflecting the college's commitment to diversity and inclusivity. Alisha Banu, a student from 2nd Arts, delivered a warm and gracious welcome speech, extending greetings to our distinguished guests and the college community.
Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, the Director of our college, delivered an enlightening message that resonated with all staff and students in attendance. His words served as a source of inspiration and guidance for the entire college community.
The Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the event was Musqan from 2nd Commerce, who also held the position of Student Council President. Her eloquence and poise set the tone for the ceremony.
As the assembly began, the NSS cadets paid their respects by saluting the chief guest, Fr. Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, and Fr. Jeevan Prabhu, as well as other dignitaries present.
During the proceedings, Fr. Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ shared an enlightening message with the gathering, not only imparting wisdom but also acknowledging and appreciating the collective efforts of the staff and students.
The ceremony was further enriched by the vote of thanks delivered by Sushmita, a student from 2nd Arts, who expressed gratitude on behalf of the college for the visit and the meaningful interactions.
The visit of our Rector, Fr. Melwin Joseph Pinto, and the felicitation of Fr. Jeevan Prabhu were significant moments that not only strengthened the bond within the college community but also inspired all present to strive for excellence and uphold the values of our institution.
