Christmas Celebration with the Families of Aloysius Staff

The Christmas celebration was grandly organised on the campus of the renowned educational institution of Harihar city, St. Aloysius International School and Pre-University College.

The programme began with a warm welcome and introduction by Mr. Abdul Rahman, who explained the purpose of the event. As a symbol of peace and harmony, the college students offered an interfaith prayer.

The welcome address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Anil D'Mello, who highlighted the importance of unity, gratitude, and cooperation among the teaching and non-teaching staff. This was followed by fun and entertaining activities. A school teacher delighted the gathering with a Swedish dance performance. The games were creatively conducted by Lecturer Shalan, Ms. Shyla, and their team, bringing joy, laughter, and happiness to the staff members and their families. The rules and regulations of the competitions were clearly explained and smoothly managed by Mr. Prasad and Mr. Manjunath.

Later, the Christmas message was delivered by Fr. John Baptist, who shared an inspiring message on celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with simplicity. Prizes were then distributed to the children of staff members and family participants who emerged as winners in the competitions. This was followed by the distribution of special Christmas gifts to all staff members, which was conducted by Fr. John Baptist. The gifts were presented by the Head of the Institution as a token of appreciation and encouragement to the staff.

Towards the end, Lecturer Mr. Musaddiq proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the guests, organisers, participants, and family members for their support and presence.

Overall, the programme was graced by the presence of the Head of the Institution Rev. Fr. Anil D'Mello, Principal Mrs. Pushpalatha Aras, Sister Shanthi David, Fr. John Baptist, Mr. Mosinulla, Pascal Fernandes, the teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, hostel staff, school and college vehicle drivers, family members, children, and students.

The programme beautifully reflected unity, festive joy, and the strong bond of the St. Aloysius family.

Finally, a special dinner was arranged for the staff families, and the programme concluded with a shared meal.
